BOOHAVEN

Some technical info: BOOHAVEN began on Leap Day 2008 (or St. Tib’s Day YOLD 3174) and ended on August 8 of the same year. It was originally published on WordPress using the ComicPress theme. It was the first webcomic to use graphical hover-text (that I am aware of) instead of the default browser tooltip. The original site design was by me, and the original tooltip code was by Nate Cantor.

I built this revamp of the site with Jekyll and SASS, with the following plugins:

• Michael Levin’s Sitemap Generator
• Vito Botta’s Tag Cloud (from his excellent WP → Jekyll migration tutorial)
• Charlie Park’s Tag Pages plugin
• Mark Wolfe’s SASS/SCSS Converter
• …and my own custom webcomic plugin, which I’ll make available shortly.
