LOVE in Utrecht

Quality graffiti (or “street art”, ha ha) is not just about the quality of the art itself, but where it is and what it does to its environment. Like Banksy said: “People look at an oil painting and admire the use of brushstrokes to convey meaning. People look at a graffiti painting and admire the use of a drainpipe to gain access.” The graffiti that effects people most often doesn’t come from people with great draftsmanship, but from clever bastards with ambition and a message.
