Heyo, I just upgraded BOOHAVEN to Wordpress 2.5, and while it doesn’t look any different to you, let me tell you that from where I’m sitting, it’s PRETTY sexy. The interface, it’s so clean…

Nate pointed out to me that the comics navigation is somehow once again borked. This is weird, since the last time I altered the code was when I upgraded to WP2.5, and it worked then…

Anyway, I’ll try and fix this tonight, and in the meantime you’ll just have to use the archive link at the top to browse the comics.

MOAR COMIX TOMORROW

Okay, the comic navigation is working again. Turns out WP2.5 has a bug that makes ComicPress navigation choke and die. But Tyler Martin (the guy behind CP) released a fix a while ago, so now everything’s hunky dory.

Also, the next ComicPress is coming soon, yay. This will of course require another redesign when I upgrade, but oh well. Building websites is fun!¹

Heyo I’m in Galicia now in a little farm house which surprised me by having das Internet, which means that BOOHAVEN will be not so super hard to update as I’d thought it might be for the next few weeks. I was a little worried but I didn’t mention it and now that I’m no longer worried I thought maybe I would, okay.

Also: IMPENDING SITE REDESIGN

So: ComicPress 2.5 was released recently, prompting a site redesign. I kept it similar, and simple, and scrapped the ads for the time being because ads are kinda annoying and they weren’t netting me much cash anyway. Along with the redesign, I decided to mix up the art a little bit I think to prevent burnout and to allow for a broader range of possibilities. The format stays the same, though (for now). Also, there will likely be some site adjustments in the coming week. Okay, cool.

OOPS I messed up the RSS feed something fierce. So to anyone who reads this via RSS (or anyone who saw the mad incomprehensible post blitz on Facebook), sorry about that. It’s all fixed and cleaned up now and good to go.

Okay probably all the comics are gonna be a bit late this week, sorry. My schedule is all messed up.

Also, just upgraded Ubuntu and now the site looks like crap. What gives?

Hi guys! Sorry I’m late, but I’ve been busy drawing comix! Dang! But now you can see them, as I’ve whipped together a derivative nice site for them. I’ll be posting one a day for about a week, and then I’ll cut back to a few times a week after that (probably M-W-F, but we’ll see).

It doesn’t have a name, really, so I don’t know what domain to buy for it! So for the time being, it’s over at journal.boohaven.com with an RSS feed (powered by RSSpect) here. Leave naming suggestions in the comments, or say hi or whatever!
