Not that I disagree with you, but I’ve always felt something odd about that sentiment. It’s almost like saying “If Hillary wants my vote, she should drop out of the race.”
I guess it’s just a catch-22 that weirds my shit out.

Well, it does sound a bit circular, but then she already missed out on my vote, and for different reasons (that’s the “all else aside” bit). I have no vote to withhold, so I don’t think that I’m putting her in a catch-22. I’m just glad she didn’t get the nomination.
In retrospect, I think the problem with my statement is just that it doesn’t really mean much, since it was basically made under the assumption that her campaign was dead. Really, it more or less amounts to “neener neener”.
Oh well. Politics.
